Description

The Kaufman Economic Summit is an informative session about the growth in Texas, the region, and Kaufman County. Our speakers this year are as follows: Representative Keith Bell, Commissioner Joe Esparza of the Texas Workforce Commission, A Regional Panel moderated by Andrea Coker, Chief Advocacy Officer of the North Texas Commission, and featuring RJ Muraski, Director of Planning with the North Texas Municipal Water District. Wilson Peppard, Director of Development with Oncor Electric, and Todd Little, Executive Director of North Texas Council of Governments. Phillip Smith, Governmental Affairs Coordinator for TVEC will moderate the Local Panel, which will feature Jim Meara, Owner of the Meara Company, Bill Wait Principal with Williamsburg Construction Services, and John Ripple, Chief Development Officer with Agile Cold Storage. Our Keynote Speaker during lunch will be Dr. Jim Holifield,  Professor and Director of the John Tower Center at SMU.
